Week 3
These showers can be found at just about every beach. They used to be part of "a day at the beach". Go for a swim, wash the sand off. I would say now that most of them have been turned off due to Australia being in a terrible drought.
Where I live has very tough water restrictions in place. We are not allowed to water the gardens, wash the car or use the hose at all. There are $220 fines if caught doing any of the said things. Although we can wash our car if we use water that was caught by bucket in the shower.
We need rain really bad.

Wow, that's really sad. I remember during summer in Poland we had people crying out to save water. I tried to explain to my kids the importance to it, However it wasn't very helpfull, when they saw on TV the very same day the mayor of the city placing fountain made with the hose in the middle of the city square, just for people to get wet and cool down.
Nice shots, Lisa. It's so sad that you're having such a bad drought. Hope you get some rain soon.
dang thats alot of drought and alot of fine for washing your car. I hope you get some rain soon.
great picture! i love the thought of focusing on the lack of water at a beach :-)
Nice shots. And to think that the poor folks in the midwestern US just got a ton of snow they'd like to get rid of. Hope the rains pick up soon!
